On Nov. 27th, a test flight was carried out at XXX airport to validate the flight procedures of RNP AR designed by Beijing Transafe Technology LLC.

The test flight lasts almost 3 hours. The Boeing 737-800 of China Eastern Airlines has successfully applied a series of flight procedures including all engine take-off, single engine take-off, approach, and go-around. XXX RNP AR procedure designed by Beijing Transafe Technology LLC was proven its safety, consistency and applicability.

RNP-AR approach is a new generation of approach navigation technology. This allows the operation of aircraft along a precise flight path with a high level of accuracy and the ability to determine aircraft position with both accuracy and integrity by utilizing Global Positioning System. Such technology is considered as the future of aviation navigation [in the business].

This test flight was authorized by CAAC South-West branch and is conducted by China Eastern Airlines. The result will be treated as the golden standard of RNP AR.
